1. In the process of use, if the furnace needs to be shut down for a long time due to faults and other reasons, the molten iron in the equipment of medium frequency electric furnace shall be emptied to avoid damage to the furnace lining due to cracking of the furnace lining when the molten iron is condensed; if the molten iron cannot be poured out and has been condensed, the furnace shall be dismantled for the sake of safety when it is impossible to judge whether the furnace lining is in good condition.

2. When the furnace is stopped for cooling, in order to avoid sudden cooling of the furnace lining, empty furnace cooling shall be carried out. At the same time, in order to avoid cracks caused by too large temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the furnace lining during the cooling process, energy-saving intermediate frequency furnace cover shall be covered to make the upper and lower parts of the furnace lining uniform during cooling, so as to ensure the service life of the energy-saving intermediate frequency furnace.

3. Due to the inevitable vertical cracks when the furnace is cold, the furnace should be dried at low temperature before melting when the cold furnace is started, so that the cracks can be bridged first, so as to avoid the infiltration of cracks when molten iron melts and further expansion of cracks.

4. During the use of medium frequency electric furnace equipment, pay attention to observe the furnace condition, which is a kind of protection for the furnace. Measure the furnace bottom every three days and observe the furnace wall every day, so as to ensure the safety of furnace lining.

5. Maintain the energy-saving medium frequency electric furnace equipment, such as purging the coil frequently, cleaning the impurities on the coil to prevent the coil from breakdown, so as to avoid furnace dismantling due to equipment failure, and effectively improve the service life of the crucible.

6. Because the sintering layer of the new furnace is thin, the application process of the new medium frequency electric furnace equipment is very important. The first furnace with water out of the new furnace shall be charged and melted at 50%, so as to avoid cracks and other defects caused by sudden cooling of the furnace lining after charging all water out; the new furnace shall be continuously melted as much as possible to avoid cracks caused by intermittent melting and sudden cooling and heating, generally for one week; when the new furnace is used, the strong impact on the furnace bottom and furnace wall shall be avoided as much as possible during charging, so as to avoid discharging under strong impact The existing furnace lining peels off, cracks, etc. Therefore, in order to obtain high furnace life, the early furnace technology of medium frequency electric furnace equipment should be done well.

7. Try to avoid high temperature smelting in the smelting process. In the high temperature state, the furnace lining will react with the molten iron in the crucible, as follows: SiO2 + 2C → Si + 2CO, the higher the temperature is, the higher the C is, the lower the Si is, the erosion of the furnace lining will be intensified, especially in the new furnace. Therefore, the high temperature shall be avoided as far as possible under the guarantee of the water temperature during melting, the water temperature is 1490 ℃ - 1540 ℃, but it is generally controlled at 1490 ℃ - 1520 ℃ during smelting; it is worth one It is pointed out that after the water is discharged, the power is cut off to keep the temperature at a lower temperature. When the water is ready to be discharged, the temperature of the last package of water is heated up. This can reduce the erosion of high temperature molten iron on the furnace lining, extend the service life of the furnace lining, and reduce the power consumption. It is a good method to increase the furnace life and reduce the power consumption.

8. Avoid overheating of furnace lining. Because the heating speed of medium frequency electric furnace equipment is quite fast, when the smelter doesn't pay attention to it, the burden will be bridged and the lining will be partially high temperature or even higher than the fire resistance of the lining, which may cause the lining to melt and corrode; or when the front work doesn't pay attention to it, the melting temperature is too high, it may also cause the lining to melt and corrode; this will greatly reduce the service life of the lining, Therefore, attention must be paid at any time in the melting process, for example, the melting chemical industry should frequently poke the material, and the foreman should master the molten iron temperature at any time according to the molten iron color to ensure the safety of the furnace lining of the medium frequency electric furnace equipment.
