2. When the furnace is stopped for cooling, in order to prevent the sudden cooling of the furnace lining, the cooling of the empty furnace shall be stopped. At the same time, in order to prevent the cracks caused by the excessive temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the furnace lining in the cooling process, the furnace cover shall be covered to make the furnace lining average up and down during cooling, so as to ensure the service life of the medium frequency electric furnace equipment.

3. Since the furnace presents vertical cracks that cannot be prevented when it is cold, when it is started, the furnace shall be dried at high temperature first, and then the melting shall be stopped, so that the cracks can be bridged first, so as to prevent the infiltration of cracks during molten iron melting and further expansion of cracks.

4. 5. 6. Because the sintering layer of the new furnace is thin, the application process of the new medium frequency electric furnace equipment is very important. 7. Try to prevent low-temperature smelting in the smelting process. In the low temperature state, the furnace lining and the molten iron stop the reaction of the crucible, as follows: SiO2 + 2C → Si + 2CO,

The higher the temperature is, the higher the C is, and the lower the Si is, the more serious the erosion of the furnace lining will be, especially in the new furnace. Therefore, when melting, try to prevent the low temperature under the guarantee of the outlet water temperature. The outlet water temperature is 1490 ℃ ~ 1540 ℃, but it is generally controlled at 1490 ℃ ~ 1520 ℃ in the smelting process. It is worth mentioning that the power is cut off after the outlet water to make it at a higher temperature for heat preservation. When preparing the outlet water, it is based on the previous package The temperature of water stops rising, which can increase the corrosion of low temperature molten iron on the furnace lining, extend the service life of the furnace lining and reduce the power consumption. It is a good way to improve the furnace life and reduce the power consumption.

8. Prevent overheating of furnace lining. Because the heating speed of medium frequency electric furnace equipment is quite fast, when the smelter doesn't pay attention to it, the furnace burden will be "bridged" and the lining will be partially low temperature or even beyond the fire resistance of the lining, which can make the lining melt and erode; perhaps when the front work doesn't pay attention to it, the melting temperature is too high, which can also make the lining melt and erode; this will greatly reduce the service life of the lining, Therefore, attention must be paid at any time in the melting process, for example, the melting chemical industry should frequently poke the material, and the foreman should always grasp the temperature of the molten iron according to the color of the molten iron to ensure the safety of the furnace lining.
